[Paraview-developers] Hiding Objects from the pipeline browser

When I register manually created objects (I've created a pqPipelineSource by hand inside my custom panel, with a custom ObjectInspector),

the object appears in the pqPipelineBrowserWidget.

Is it possible to suppress this somehow so that I can generate mini-pipelines with controls to adjust them without them being visible outside of the custom panel/gui?
