My name is Sharan Poojari from Mumbai, India, and I am reaching out to
express my enthusiasm for participating in the Google Summer of Code (GSOC)
program, specifically with your captivating project titled “Web-Based 3D
Molecule Editor/Builder.”

I am passionate about web technologies and equally fascinated by the world
of chemistry, and your project resonates with me. The idea of contributing
to the creation of a responsive web user interface for constructing and
manipulating molecules using 3Dmol.js truly excites me.

I have hands-on experience with JavaScript and web development, having
worked on several web projects in the past. Furthermore, my fundamental
understanding of organic and molecular chemistry equips me with a strong
foundation to explore the intricacies of this project

Recently, I delved into the codebase of the project “molcalc” that you
mentioned in the project idea. It’s impressive how the existing work lays
the groundwork for an interactive and powerful tool. Also, I tried exploring
other tools available tools online , However, I’m eager to learn more about
the underlying technologies, tools, and specific areas where I can
contribute effectively.

Time Zone :(Indian Standard Time, GMT+5:30).

I look forward to your guidance and the opportunity to contribute under
your mentorship.

Regards,

Sharan Poojari
