[Midas] Problem with installation

Dear all,

I tried installing and setting up Midas, I did not manage to get past the
second installation step however (during which one has to put in
information such as email, see error message below). MySQL (using XAMPP) is
running, a midas database was created, still this error occurs. I also
tried to put in various combinations of different usernames, passwords
etc., nothing worked however and the same error message is displayed.
