[Midas] "manage data export"

In some circumstances you may want to create hard links ($ ln) instead
of symbolic links ($ ln -s), that is what the checkbox signifies.

Hard links have limitations, of course, including the inability to
link directories or span file-system boundaries. When in doubt, use
symlinks.
