[ITK-users] how to connect components resulting from itkBinaryThinningImageFilter

Hello ITK users,

I am currently trying to extract the medial axis of a 3D image using
itkBinaryThinningImageFilter. The resulting binary image contains a lot of
unconnected components. Is there any filter in itk to connect these
components and obtain a connected image, from which I can extract a contour?
