[ITK-users] difference between trees constructed in itkWatershedImageFilter and itkComponentTree

Wherein lies the difference in the tree constructed in itkWatershedImageFilter 
and itkComponentTree contributed by Gaëtan Lehmann in 
http://www.insight-journal.org/browse/publication/210?

In the article about the itkComponentTree 
(http://www.insight-journal.org/browse/publication/210) it says there is a 
contribution for the binary case in ITK. Which is it? 
ConnectedComponentImageFilter?
Further in the text single template attribute are mentioned. Would these have to 
be computed separately with e.g. itkLabelImageToShapeLabelMapFilter?
