You can look at the test for the filter under
Modules/Filtering/Deconvolution/test//itkTikhonovDeconvolutionImageFilterTest.cxx:

There should be no restriction on pixel type. Internally, the input is
converted into a floating point type and all math is done in float
precision.

If you continue to have problems, please post a minimal compilable
example and describe what problem you are having.
