[Insight-users] ITK x DICOM x Center and Width window

Hi Bill,

I'm refering into this example
http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/ITK/Examples/ImageProcessing/IntensityWindowingImageFilterwhere
the IntensityWindowingImageFilterType can to have a DICOM image like
input and receives a transform with the parameters send with the methods
filter->SetWindowMinimum(0), filter->SetWindowMaximum(100),
filter->SetOutputMinimum(0) and filter->SetOutputMaximum(255) (like the
example) resulting on brightness or contrast effects.

May I say these parameters have some relation with the tags Center Window
and Width Window since they have the same objective (brightness and
contrast effects)? Case not, there is some relation between these two tags
and itk?
