[Insight-users] Problem building itk and co.

Dear all,

I was fighting for a week to upgrade my development on a new PC.
Formerly, I had:

Windows Xp 32bit, Cmake 2.6.2, Visual Studio 2005
ITK 3.10
InsightApplications 3.10
IGSTK 4.4
VTK 5.21
Fltk 1.1.7
Qt 4.6.2

All toolkits and apps, in addition to my own programs, built and compiled
perfectly, for both release and debug.

1. On the new PC, I have Windows 7 64 bit, Cmake 2.8.9, and Visual
Studio 2010. So I first tried the most releases:

ITK 4.2.0
InsightApplications 4.2.0
IGSTK 5.0
VTK 5.10
Fltk 1.3
Qt 4.8.2

Building itk,vtk, and fltk worked. InsightApps failed, with many errors
related to fltk. So I also tried with 1.1.7, with no success. My own
programs also did not compile correctly, with errors related to
fltkimageviewer. IGSTK did not compile correctly.

2. After many trials, with and without superbuild, building different fltk
releases with and without Cmake. I decided to try older versions of the
toolkits. Namely,

ITK 3.20.1
InsightApplications 3.20.0

No progress, almost the same errors.

3. As there is no 64 bit version of qt and since I also want to use
my programs on a 32bit machine. All builds above were made
with 32 bits, where my windows 7 is 64 bit.



As my projects need all these toolkits, did anyone manage to
bring them to work together? With which parameters?

Things that I did not try yet are older versions of CMake and visual
studio, and building for 64 bits. Do you think any of these options
would help?
