[Insight-users] Seed for mattes mi random generator

Is there any rule of thumb for setting the seed for the random variable generator for use with mattes mi? I think the ITK book seeds it to 12345....but I'm not thinking that is actually correct.....


Set it to current time or something, or is it better to seed to a fixed value - 12345 for instance- so you get the same "answer" each time you run against a data set?
