[Insight-users] 3D image segmentation methods

Hi all,

My task is to read a dicom series images and perform segmentation and should display the 3D segmented model on the QVTKWidget . I completed the task using one of the segmentation methods "connected threshold filter"(Region growing ). Now I have to perform segmentation with other segmentation method , so I want to know ........

What are all the methods we can use for 3D image segmentation?
Which method will perform segmentation faster?

Please suggest me some methods?
