[Insight-users] surgical tool movements

Hello,

I'm wondering what research exists into the question of surgical
workspace, by which I mean: the poses (position and orientation) of
surgical tools during a given procedure. This could be done by
tracking hand-held surgical tools or maybe by tracking robot tools.
In fact, one question that intrigues me is whether the two differ in
size.

I'm hoping the tracking experts this message reaches may have some
pointers to papers or research groups. Or maybe you know of a better
list to send this query to.

Thanks,
-Steve
