Dear all,
I have a question concerning the implementation of a 3D/2D
registration algorithm (somewhere it is also referred to as 2D/3D
registration).
My task is to implement (or use) an algorithm to register a 3D CT
image to a series of 2D planar images acquired from a single viewing
direction (angiography-like).
I browsed to the ITK Insight Journal but the only implementation that
I found was to register a 3D image to two orthogonal planar images
"ITK-Based Implementation of Two-Projection 2D/3D Registration Method
with an Application in Patient Setup for External Beam Radiotherapy"
(http://insight-journal.org/browse/publication/784) which is very
close to what I have to do but it needs two projection images.
Is there anyone who has suggestions on possible implementations and
feasibility of this method with ITK?
Thank you very much in advance.
