[Insight-users] Opening Large Files

Hi ,

I am opening Large dicom images for ex CR or MG about 50 MB  and i am using
:
itk::ImageIOBase to determine the image type and then pass it to 
itk::ImageFileReader to read the image but it seems too slow while opening.

I wanna know if i can use an option for ex streaming to open the image much
more faster also when i make processing on the image it seems very slow too
so i resampled the image using the itk::ResampleImageFilter to speed the
processing ..

I wanna know if there's a way to open the image much faster ?

Also i am facing a problem when opening compressed images it seems too slow
and i am using verison 3.20
Any help will be appreciated .
