[Insight-users] user-defined fields using MetaDataDictionary

Hi,
I'm trying to save user-defined fields in an mhd file.
For that, I though that MetaDataDictionary would be a good start.
However, I cannot get any additionally fields written in the mhd file.
I studied the broken example of
http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/ITK/Examples/Broken/SimpleOperations/MetaDataDictionary
for which I also expected to see a 'ASimpleFloat' in the mhd.

So, any hint how to fix this?
