[Insight-users] Regularization term with rigidity constraints

Hi Yogish,
 
ITK currently does not have this functionality. However, we have it
implemented in ITK style in elastix, see http://elastix.isi.uu.nl/. If
you download the sources, you can find it under
 
  elastix\src\Components\Metrics\RigidityPenalty
 
Note however that it depends on an AdvancedImageToImageMetric, amongst
others, which can be found under
 
  elastix\src\Common\CostFunctions
 
If you want to use it with elastix you just need to use a parameter file
similar to the ones found on
 
  http://elastix.bigr.nl/wiki/index.php/Par0004

I am looking for a regularization term that keeps rigid objects rigid
while performing non-rigid registration. Does such a filter available in
ITK?
