the strategic R&D partner for the Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) division of
Siemens Healthcare, headquartered in Malvern, PA. As a leading supplier of

CAD is a world-class R&D team comprising researchers and software experts
primarily in areas of Medical Imaging, Medical Image Processing, Data Mining
and Classification. Our team in India is working on innovative CAD
tools diagnostic
imaging and healthcare IT that cover multiple imaging modalities and
applications, providing support for early detection, diagnosis and follow-up
tasks.



*Job Title: R&D Engineer/Scientist *

*Location: Bangalore, India*



We have an immediate opening for a full-time R&D engineer/scientist
position. The scientist will conduct leading-edge research and development
activities involving segmentation, registration, feature extraction,
classification, modality fusion and other related medical imaging and
computer aided diagnosis areas. We require self-driven people with strong
customer focus, committed to delivering robust, world-class products and
solutions to our partners.



*Qualifications and Expertise:*



Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate all or many of the
following key qualities:



n       MS in CS/EE/related disciplines with research experience. PhD highly
desirable.

n       A proven research record in image processing, pattern recognition,
machine learning and classification.

n       Innovative thinking and fast prototyping.

n       Experience in solving real-world problems and should be able to work
in teams as well as an independent researcher.

n       Strong programming skills in C/C++/MATLAB.

n       Strong verbal and written communication skills.

n       Preference would be given to candidates with experience in medical
imaging applications, especially relevant to Computer Aided Detection (CAD)
areas.
