Dear Dawood

Thank you very much for your help.

I realize that watersheds not good with my application. (i was thinking because it is colored it mus be good)

I am now working in the level set example as you said before and Slicer3 simultaneously

Now I'll search about canny edge detector.

Dear H. B.,

To get the best segmentation results you should implement several methods and compare

their results then decide which one is the best for your application. Fortunately some of

main segmentation methods are already included in the ITK (as I pointed out before), the

canny edge detector seems as a good start since it has a good performance with a fairly

straight forward setting. However if you are satisfied with the results of the watershed

method it seems suitable to use it.

Wish you success in your work.

Regards,

Dawood
