Hi Andrey,
Thanks for pointing this out,
and for the detailed report.
Particularly for including the source code and
images that illustrate the problem.
I was able to replicate the problem, and it seems
indeed to be a bug in the Danielsson distance
filter.
Curiously, this incorrect behavior happens
regardless of whether we declare the filter
to work on a 2D or a 3D image.
I also added an image iterator to your Danielsson
test in order to further verify that the input image
is null.
Could you please log a bug entry for this issue:
http://public.kitware.com/Bug/my_view_page.php
and upload your .tgz as the reference file that
can be used for replicating the problem ?
