Hi Marco,

Take a look at the following example:
    Examples/IO/DicomSeriesReadImageWrite2.cxx

Use "output.mhd" as the outputFileName to generate a header (mhd) and raw file.

To compile the examples set BUILD_EXAMPLES=ON when configuring ITK.
