Hi Gerald,
A filter does not have the right to delete its input.
It can however, delete its output.
If you have a pipeline such as
filter1-->filter2-->filter3
you may want to try calling
filter1->ReleaseDataFlagOn();
before you call Update()
In this way the output of filter1 will be deleted as soon
as filter2 finishes its update.
