[Insight-users] Create a Vector image from several Scalar images?

I need to create a vector image from several scalar images. For
example, to create an RGB image from three scalar images, each
representing one channel. Is there a canonical ITK way to do this?
Also, it would be nice if I could do this with in a non-copying kind
of way, similar to itkImageImportFilter.
