Hi Sharath,
You can also consider using Slicer.
http://www.slicer.org/
you can put one image as Foreground, and the other
as Background, then play with a slider that controls
Alpha-blending.
It all depends on whether you just need a visualization
tool for evaluating the registration results, or you
actually need to fuse/combine/blend the two images...
