Hi John,

Thanks for the clarification.

We have looked at this warning in the past, and there
is no easy way of solving it in a portable manner.

In ITK we are currently disabling the warning.

We do this by adding the flag:

         -Wno-deprecated


in lines 506-509 of the top level CMakeLists.txt file:

  itkCHECK_CXX_ACCEPTS_FLAGS("-Wno-deprecated" CXX_HAS_DEPRECATED_FLAG)
  IF(CXX_HAS_DEPRECATED_FLAG)
    SET(ITK_REQUIRED_CXX_FLAGS "${ITK_REQUIRED_CXX_FLAGS} -Wno-deprecated")
  ENDIF(CXX_HAS_DEPRECATED_FLAG)


You may consider doing the
same thing in your project.
