[Insight-users] Parameters for 3d demons registration

Hello,
 I've been playing with demon registration of 3D T1W MRI images of
brains. There seems to be a bunch ajustable parameters

1. SetNumberofHistogramLevels
2. SetNumberOfMatchPoints
3. SetNumberofIterations
4. SetStandardDeviations

Has anyone found the best combination of these parameters for 3D T1W MRI
brain images? Also, is registration improved by using smoothed images?
Any thoughts would be apreciated.
