[Insight-users] extract a series of 2D slices from 3D data

Hi, all -
 
  A question for you -
 
  I have a 3D data with 24 slices, and I want to extract the first 6 slices, and I will caluclate some parameters from this 6 slices volume, and I don't need to put these 6 slices back to the original 3D volume.
 
  Seems like I can use extractImageFilter and TileImageFilter in ITK to achieve my goal, my question is is there any better and simple way to perfrom this?
