[Insight-users] landmark tracking in 3D

Hi,

I am looking for a proper way to track a landmark in a series of 3D images
taken over time.

My initial idea is to use a (deformable ?) registration to register a small
part of the fixed image (patch) containing the landmark to the moving image.
(In the meanwhile performance is not an issue).

What do you think about this proposed solution? What are the obsticles?
