hmmmmm.... maybe a zip file made in MacOSX using the tool in the
finder (right click contextual menu)
makes a zip archive that unpacks in a usable fashion on windows....
all a bit over my head....
its just that novices like myself can easily make the mistake i did
that the zip file would work on OSX.
Maybe in the mean time, just marking the .zip as windows only would be
enough
to make the OSX user download the .tar.gz instead.
