Hi Vincent,

In addition to the filters that Gaetan suggested, you may want
to look also at the methods used for creating DRR (Digitally
Reconstructed Radiographs).

In particular to the example in

      InsightApplications/IntensityBased2D3DRegistration/

where those methods are used as part of a 2D/3D registration
between 3D CT images and 2D Fluoroscopy images.
