[Insight-users] DeformableRegistration2.exe

Hi there,
 
I'm using the DeformableRegistration2.exe right out of the box as it
comes with the ITK-package because it does what I want it to do. My
question: Is it possible to get some information about what this
algorithm does in detail?
I checked the Guide but it is not described in there. Do I have to study
the code (which is a really hard way to learn it) or is there some
documentation about this algorithms somewhere.
