[Insight-users] Demons Deformable registration

Hi,
I forgotten another question.
Is there some kind of optimizer in the Demons Ragistration algorithm?
I downloaded some slides "Insight-DeformableRegistration-Demons", in which,
in the scheme of the algortithm, there is an INCREMENT COMPUTATION, before
the PDE-solver.
Is this INCREMENT COMPUTATION  a sort of optimizer?
Does the algorithm stops itself when it it reachs convergence or only when
the number of iterations it's reached?
