Hi Siddarth,


Please read the ITK Software Guide:

In particular the "Image Registration" chapter.

You will find there a description of each one
of the Image metrics available in ITK.



The most important parameters for this metric are:


         1) The number of bins

         2) The min and max for the intensity
            range in the histogram.
