[Insight-users] What is your way of extracting outer surface of a head scan?

Dear All,

I'm working with ITk/VTK. I use marching cubes to extract the outer surface
of a skull, then decimate the mesh. I believe this can be done better, for
example, with deformable surface models. So what's your way of doing this?
