[Insight-users] Question about compiling ITK 2.2

Hi,
I just grabbed ITK 2.2 from the repository yesterday. I was able to get it
to compile. But when I run "make" again in the binary directory immediately
after the compile, the CableSWIG code were rebuilt, which caused some
wrapped code to be recompiled. A lot of the example executables were
rebuilt as well. Running make yet again caused another rebuild of the
wrapping related files. Each of these rebuilds take an hour or more.

Is this normal behavior? I am compiling on redhat ws 3, with gcc 3.2.3. I
have wrapping turned on for java, tcl, and python. (yeah, I know....).
Thanks
