[Insight-users] urgent help about geodesic

Hello, 
i have to present a little example about the use of the geodesic active
contour filter,
someone can tell me an easy way to get the mathemathical part about this
filter?
i mean like the formula of the geodesic active contour, i try to read the
paper of caselles but
is kind of complicated and i dont have the time to read it and read it over
again to get the idea
please help
