[Insight-users] problem with B-spline examples

Hi,

At the moment I'm working on 3D/3D registration. I want to use B-Splines
to do a deformable registration.

I tried the 3D/3D-examples DeformableRegistration7.cxx and
DeformableRegistration8.cxx with 2 mhd-files.
In one files is a small sphere and in the second file is a big sphere.

The result:
The resulting 3D image is always the same like the moving image! And the
resulting field consists of a small homogeneous movement in z-direction.
I modified all parameters for the grid and the optimizer and tried a lot
of combinations. But the result is always the same...

I also tried the 2D/2D-emaples DeformableRegistration4.cxx and
DeformableRegistration6.cxx after modifing the dimension from 2 to 3. And
the result is very good!

Does anybody have a clue why the 2D examples are working for 3D, but not
the 3D exmaples?
Thanks a lot for any help!
