Thank you for your note, Quan.
 
I realized I had the wrong value for meshSource->SetObjectValue( 200 )
as you noted in your experience. I copied the example without noticing
my value should have been 1 and not 200.  Now my problem is that it
doesn’t seem that mesh gets deformed at all in the end…
 
I will work at it until I know exactly where the problem is and post the
findings.  Thanks again for your email.

I am not sure if my assertion is correct but I was able to make it work.
 
I am not sure if itk fixed this bug in new versions but at least it is
there in 1.8.0
