Hi Albert,

The example:

          ImageRegistration1


is tested *every night* in 31 differen platforms:

http://www.itk.org/Testing/Dashboard/20050304-0500-Nightly/TestDetail/__Examples_Registration_ImageRegistration1Test.html


It is passing fine in all of them.



Please try the example first with the images used for testing.


You will find them in:


         Insight/Examples/Data/
              BrainProtonDensitySliceBorder20.png
              BrainProtonDensitySliceShifted13x17.png




Once you manage to use the example as described in the ITK
Software Guide, then you can move into trying it with your
own images.

DICOM is simply a file format. Registering DICOM images is
not different from any other file format. For examples on
how to read and write DICOM images, please look at the
directory


             Insight/Examples/IO
