Hello Salah,

I don't see the purpose of such a call (wouldn't you better 
avoid it?), but according to 
http://paine.wiau.man.ac.uk/pub/doc_vxl/core/vnl/html/vnl__inverse_8h-source.html
an assertion would fail. (Depending on the NDEBUG definition you
can get the matrix obtained by the default constructor.)
