[Insight-users] Why there isn´t itkDICOMImageIO to JAVA

Thanks for pointing this out.

We just logged this as Bug entry # 1291,
http://www.itk.org/Bug/bug.php?op=show&bugid=1291&pos=0

and commited a fix for it in CVS
http://www.itk.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/Wrapping/CSwig/IO/wrap_IOBase.cxx?root=Insight&sortby=date&r2=1.5&r1=1.4

You may want to update your CVS checkout, or simply
apply the patch shown in the 'viewcvs' link above.

Examples on how to read a single DICOM slice were
added as:

               Examples/IO/
                     DicomSliceRead.py
                     DicomSliceRead.tcl
                     DicomSliceRead.java
