Hi Julien,
I checked the documentation for Danielsson but it does not mention this
feature. Has this been integrated?

itkDanielssonDistanceMapImageFilter has such feature (thanks to Luca). You
just need to SetUseImageSpacing(true);
This feature has been added on March 7.

Is there a distance map filter that takes into account actual distances
rather than pixel distance? This is especially useful for 3D images with
thick slices.
