I changed UseSpacing to UseImageSpacing. This conforms to the API used by
several other classes in itk,

The changes were commited to the repository.

A small (printed) test for anisotropic spacing
was added to:

    Insight/Testing/Code/BasicFilters/
      itkDanielsonDistanceMapImageFilterTest.cxx
