Building fails with GNU make 3.80 on both Linux (makefiles generated with
CMake 1.8.3 and 2.0.2) and Solaris 8 (CMake 1.8.3) platform. It also
fails with GNU make 3.79.1 on Linux.

Solaris' own make does fine.

Could somebody with better knowledge of build system investigate wheter
it is a bug in makefile generation or a bug in GNU make?
