Hi Michael,
This exception means that you have not provided
the "fixed image region" to the registration object.
This region defines the sector of pixels that will
be considered during the computation of the metrics.
This is explained int the Software Guide
http://www.itk.org/ItkSoftwareGuide.pdf
Section 8.2, in particular in pdf-page 244.
Or...
maybe you are calling this method but the fixed
image is being constructed with empty regions...
a call to fixedImage->Print( std::cout ) will
lead you to solve the dilema.
