[Insight-users] building itk 1.4 on linux

Hi all,
I already have installed several versions of itk before on windows and
linux, but now I have on linux an error with the itk 1.4 and cmake 1.8 -
patch3 :
"
cmake error : VXL configure script failed
"
I've gcc and g++ for the C and CXX compilers.

it seems that on the mailling list I'm not the only one, but I can't
find an answer to fix the problem.
