Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a method in ITK/VNL for projecting an
image onto the orthogonal basis produced by principal components
analysis? (The orthogonal basis is of course the set of eigenvector
output images produced by something like
itk::ImagePCAShapeModelEstimator.)
This sort of projection is often used in image
compression/pre-whitening/classification in many vision tasks, so it
would be useful to have.
If there is a good way to do this, I'd love to know what it is. If not,
I'll get to work on an ImagePCAProjectionCalculator for ITK.
