[Insight-users] shape changes analysis

Dear Luis,

We have a sequence of spine MRI images from the same rat, whose spinal cord
was injured by a needle,  at different recovery times. We are planning to
use ITK to do the following things:

1)segment these MRI images to get a sequence of 3D volume rendering models
of spinal cord.
    ITK has many algoritms for segmentation, but I don't know which one is
the best for our project?
2)Analyze/quantatively describe shape changes between these volume rendering
models of spinal cord.
    I don't know if ITK already has some algorithms for this purpose?

Could you give some suggestions on these?
