Hi Robert


A JPEG Reader/Writer was added recently to the
toolkit by Julien Jomier (from the UNC CADDLab).

You can use this JPEGImageIO object connected to
a ImageFileReader / ImageFileWriter in order to
manage jpeg files.

Since this is a recent addition (post version 1.4)
you will have to get the CVS version of the toolkit
in order to find this class.

Converting JPEG files to PNG will be trivial using
this new ImageIO object. Just take a look at the
Examples in Insight/Examples/IO, which are also
described in the software guide.
