Re wrapped optimizers not having certain set/get functions: FWIW, when I needed to try some vxl wrapped optimizers I just added the additional set/get functionality I needed to the API. I figure ITK is a big thing and I know some of its functionality hasn't been developed. (I seem to be good at finding those unused corners... ;)) :) C
