Hi Neha,

The factory mechanism was not fully
implemented in ITK version 1.0.

The exception is being thrown because
no ImageIO factory was registered by
default in ITK version 1.0

Please use version 1.2

You can download it now as a tar.gz
file for unix or as a .zip file for
windows from:

http://www.itk.org/HTML/Download.php
